Boston, MA – After months of applications, second-year therapeutic pottery major Benny Arnold has finally found a co-op.

Arnold, who applied to over 40 co-ops, attributes his ultimate success to using SAIL.

“I hadn’t gotten a single interview. It was a really tough co-op cycle,” said Arnold, “but I tried not to get discouraged. I kept seeing ads for this ‘SAIL’ app, so eventually I gave it a try. After downloading the app, I applied for a co-op and got an offer within one minute of applying.”

The co-op will be with SAIL as a student ambassador.

Ahate Mijab, the head of recruiting at SAIL, explained what stood out to him in Arnold’s application. “Well, even though his GPA is a 1.9 and he’s on trial for murder in Oklahoma, he was the first applicant we’ve ever had who had downloaded SAIL. He was also the first applicant we’ve ever had. With that sort of enthusiasm for SAIL, we just couldn’t say no!”

While SAIL seemed to work miracles for Benny Arnold, others are more skeptical.

“After Benny told me what happened, I downloaded SAIL to see if it would help” said Gully Bull, Arnold’s roommate. “I applied to a Big Four accounting firm, got an interview, and sent my interviewer my SAIL profile and MyStory graphic. The interviewer told me writing my resume in crayon would have been more professional. He was so disgusted that he called every accounting firm in the US and told them to blacklist me! Now the only co-op I could get was a job laundering money for a prostitution ring in Tallahasee.”

Stay tuned for a follow-up interview with Arnold in the spring to hear how his exciting co-op is going!
