Aoun Christening his new Zeppelin

Boston, MA – Recently, campus has been a cacophony of sounds. From the construction to the fleet of helicopters, it’s making the studying I never do impossible. Since campus can’t possibly get any louder, Northeastern has decided to construct something special to complement ISEC 2.

In the past few years, Aoun has been pushing hard to steadily increase the balloon budget. However, there has been a startling lack of visible balloons this fall semester due to the cancellation of Fall Fest and Orientation. To satisfy his urge for aerial superiority, President Aoun commissioned a coordinated drone performance—a robotic upgrade on regular balloons. To finish dominance in the Boston sky, President Aoun has purchased the pinnacle of aviation: a zeppelin.

When asked to comment on why a zeppelin was the right choice, Aoun said: “I asked my secretary to find a balloon to match my ego and they said this was it! Plus, it’ll be a perfect way for me to look down on my underlings from above.”

Most undergraduates are confused about the use for such a vehicle. But they just haven’t thought about the marketing potential! Normally, Northeastern’s marketing materials only serve to spam Bostonian’s eyes at ground-level. Now we can also reach their ears with the sound of giant propellers churning to propel our aerial monstrosity ever-closer as we manifest our aerial destiny.

Check back with us in two weeks as we document the first of the NUZeppelin’s adventures.
