Cpt. Husky H. Paws in announces the peace talks via a Zoom Press conference

Boston, MA - In a zoom press conference this afternoon it has been announced by the Northeastern administration that a peace treaty with the Goose Liberation Army (GLA) could be signed as early as next week.

The announcement comes after a turbulent time in Northeastern-Goose relationships with the memory of a GLA-occupied Northeastern still fresh in the minds of many. After the events of March 2020 where the conflict reached a boiling point once the GLA invaded a desolate Northeastern and was promptly chased out by a reborn King Husky. a standoff developed. The Northeastern administration was forced to establish an exclusion zone on the border of the fens. With the GLA arming its border preparing to attack any student that crossed into their territory bearing a Canada Goose jacket tensions remained high.

The Covid pandemic developed the situation in a variety of unexpected ways as the administration grew to have bigger concerns than the Fens Geese. This however, has appeared to benefit both sides as they have finally come to an agreement to establish peace. The details of the agreement are still being kept in relative secrecy by the administration. However, insider information provided by NULeaks points that the agreement involves sacrificing a number of Canada Goose jackets every semester to appease the GLA, a cost international students have deemed acceptable.
