Boston, MA - For the first time in years, Khoury College and the College of Social Sciences and Humanities have joined forces to address one of the most glaring issues in Northeastern’s curriculum. Petitions and protests have been erupting in each college as students realize their “Intro to Logic” courses are not actually about the retired rapper, author, singer, songwriter, streamer, record producer, biracial man, and YouTuber, Logic.
Many first years have expressed a similar disappointment in classes that claim to discuss Logic, but fail to address some of the most fundamental parts of his career, such as “Flexicution,” and that one song with Ryan Tedder. “I’m not sure what Boolean is,” a Discrete Mathematics student confessed in tears, “But I told my professor he spelled ‘boolin’ wrong on the syllabus, and he made me leave the classroom.” An aspiring philosophy student claimed, “When my friends said this class was going to be an easy A, I thought they were making a joke about No Pressure.”
The Husky Husky had the chance for an exclusive interview with one of the PHIL 1115 professors about these recent scandals. “Logic is garbage,” the anonymous PhD graduate informed us. “I wouldn’t be caught dead listening to that shit. Stream Childish Gambino or literally anything else.” The Husky Husky’s team of obedient servants have reached out to Logic, known intimately as Sir Robert Bryson Hall II, as well as Childish Gambino to comment, but have not yet received a response.
“It makes you wonder what we’re really paying for,” a disgruntled freshman reported. A formal appeal has been sent to the Office of the University Registrar, requesting that Northeastern implements a class titled “Intro to Bobby Tarantino” as part of the required course load for both Computer Science and Philosophy majors.
